EXAMS END TODAY WOOT... HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER HAS TRANSFERRED ITS MASS OUT OF MY SIGHT SO I CAN'T FEEL ITS HEAT... YEA! :) Am so friggin stoked atm...

So how was this exam season? Truth be told, it was ONE OF THE WORST exam seasons ever. WHY?! Well, mainly because all the assignments for all the units were due pretty much at once in the last week of semester; or worse, during actual study break; eating into my study time! And also, the timetable was dodge as; 8, 10, 11, 19... Need I say more?! So yea, a lot of saturating-desaturating processes have occurred in my brain this exam season, and I don't think it's taken the toll very well; I'm slightly insane at the moment; or as Buzz would say, 'kee xiao'. For a rundown:

• Hydraulics: honestly, I maintain that this was the shittiest exam I have ever had the disprivilege of sitting. Marco was mean to set such hard questions... And I had one of my few panic attacks sitting this exam (the last one I had was for Organic Chemistry in 2007 Sem 2)... And like I said, my answer script ended up looking like modern art.
• Process: sif recycle tutorial questions, Brendan. Haha... It was easier than expected; but don't want to be over-confident.
• Materials: *prays* it was not overly hard, but this is a unit where its easy to pass; but difficult to do well? Coz it's descriptive and not mathematical, I guess? Plus I hate memorising; after doing 11 years of that in Malaysia... LOL... Also, my old man brain is up against all these 19 yr olds and 18 yr olds (well, except Kaseng and Timmy the wrinkled prunes) so my mental prowess just doesn't cut it... SCALING! I PRAY FOR SCALING!
• Heat and Mass: it was an ok paper but when I first opened it, I was like wtf... So hard... Coz Huitong was using all his long verbose words again! :@ AND IT TOOK ME SO LONG to understand wtf he was trying to say... "A building has a square cross section with width W on one side and equal width W on the other side."... WTF?! Or maybe it's just me. But it was a good paper; managed to figure everything out in the end!

Anyway... It's been one and a half weeks since I had my first exam (Hydraulics) and as such Marco has finished marking them! And he said we could go check our exam mark in his office; and after much persuasion from Elisa and Kelvin, I decided to go... Was gonna shit my pants coz I was so scared; this was an exam I was NOT confident for... So I went in and he asked me my name - and I said "Lionel Lam." And he said, "AHHHHHH!!!! I've been waiting for you!!!!" and he took out my exam paper and circled one of the TRUE/FALSE questions... "That's the ONLY question you got wrong in the whole exam!" :o :o :o... OMG... At that point it was like I blacked out or something, I could only see white... And I could see like jellyfish flying outside his window (don't ask)... I totally couldn't believe it... "So how much did I get?!" I was in THAT much disbelief - I mean, this was an exam I was so sad for after sitting and was so worried; and totally didn't expect to get only 1 question wrong... "You got 99 for the exam, and 98 for the unit; one of the few people who got pulled down by the assignments and labs... And you got the top mark!"

I NEARLY DIED ON THE SPOT.

LOL. I AM SO STOKED!

I LOVE HYDRAULICS AGAIN.

So yea, just have to wait till December 15th to get the remaining 3 unit marks (as well as the scaled mark for Hydraulics); but pity I will be in Japan at that time... Will return circa the 17th.
